回覆刪除Being confident and her face always shines with a smile, Lee seems to be very strong. However, she has suffered from anemia and it takes her more time to recover, but she never gives up.
Sarah as has been a cyclist since 2004. Three years later, she was seriously hurt in an accident as she had not wanted to hit against a dog. She underwent a couple of operations but struck with the practice of cycling during her recovery from the seriously hurt. Her trainer advised her to stop cycling from then on but she didn’t. She continually kept practicing instead.
She secured the bronze in the keirin race at the London Olympics and won gold medal in the women’s 500m time-trial as well as bronze medal in the women’s sprint in Belarus. Sarah gets good results on cycling even though Hong Kong has no a standard site of keirin race for training.
Lee is successful, tolerant and humble. Her experience of facing hardship on cycling inspires others to try again if they have difficulty. She is a good model for young people and other athletes.
